You want to attend the Halloween party but you're just too busy for costume planning. Forget about packaged costumes–– they're overpriced and poor quality. It's too much effort to make one from scratch and you don't want to spend the money. Well, fear not Lazy Bones–– with these cheap and easy ideas, you'll be costume-contest-ready in no time.
1. Cool Ghost
Here's an old-school ghost costume with a twist. As a cool ghost you'll get no "boos"–– you'll receive applause and laughter! Whip up this spirit dude with an old white bedsheet and a pair of your coolest shades. Transform into a "sexy ghost" by wearing lingerie over top of the sheet.
2. Kim Possible
Cartoon characters like Kim make it possible to dress like them with items from your closet. The only thing you may want to buy is a red wig but it's not necessary. Throw on a pair of khakis, a black turtle neck, and gloves and practice your best secret agent moves.
3. Ketchup & Mustard
Chances are you've got some sort of red or yellow attire in your wardrobe. If not, these clothes will be easy to find in a thrift store. If you're in the medical profession, you don't need to do any shopping. For the rest of us, scrubs and lab coats are easy to come by. Slap on a face mask and splatter yourself with red paint for that extra evil aesthetic.
10. Mummy
Transforming yourself into a mummy sounds like a lot of effort but it doesn't require much work at all. You just need long strips of fabric to wrap yourself in. If that sounds like too much, check out your bathroom cupboard. You can mummify yourself with toilet paper.

Don't have time to make a costume? Don't sweat it. Become that fitness freak you want to be but do it 80s style. Luckily 80s fashion has made its way back and has become trendy again. The only thing hard about this classic aerobics outfit should be your abs.

You don't need a pot of gold to be a leprechaun–– this costume is cheap. You can wear your Paddy's Day outfit in October and call yourself a leprechaun! All you need is a lot of green to pull off this lucky look.

The Powerpuff Girls are cartoon characters with a lot of girl power and a little effort to mock. Three girls with dresses in blue, red, and green can create the dream team. Add bows in your hair and black belts around your waist to complete the look.
